Nowadays, globalization produces a huge impact on people, communities and countries and has a major influence on sustainable development. It changes the whole society, but also the economies and our environment. As a clear effect, people have to face and answer to the challenges that globalization produces in various contexts.
In this respect, assuming the concept of globalization as a key one, in strong connection with other two actual issues of our society - innovation and development -, the International Conference: "GLOBALIZATION, INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT. TRENDS AND PROSPECTS" (G.I.D.T.P.) tries to gather academic staff, researchers, experts, specialists, teaching professionals, societal actors who are working and making research in the following fields:

• Public Administration and Social Responsibility in the European context
• Innovation and Information Technology
• Diversity and Local Development
The conference is happy to promote research papers that encompass analyses, presentations and solutions to the major problems raised by globalization, but also good practices recorded in relation to innovation and development of our society.
